Jude Fokwang, PhD

Mungaka

Jude Fokwang, PhD is Associate Professor of Sociocultural Anthropology at Regis University, Denver, Colorado. He founded the Mungaka101 Language series in 2017 and has taught Mungaka on Zoom since 2018. He has authored several books on Mungaka, the pioneer language to be adapted into written form in the Cameroon Grasslands. Besides his passion for African languages, Dr. Fokwang teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in anthropology and development practice. He serves on the advisory board of several academic journals including Africa: The Journal of the International Africa InstituteAnthropology Southern Africa and the Nordic Journal of African Studies.
