Ms. Irungu is the Communications and Digital Strategist at Ituĩka Literary Platform. She is a graduate of United States International University, having pursued a B.A in International
Relations. Her contribution at Ituĩka is aimed at digitally documenting the challenges faced and the milestones achieved while preserving African Languages. All this whist, challenging narratives about Africa. She was part of the production team for the 2021 Ituĩka Writing and Translation Workshop. One that was centered on exploring the contours of literary activism, specifically through a multilingual network model of writing and translation for Kenyan languages.

MUNYAO KILOLO – FOUNDER AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Munyao Kilolo is the projects officer at the Ngugi wa Thiong’o Foundation and the administrator of the Mabati Cornell Kiswahili Prize. He previously served as the Managing Editor of Jalada Africa, where he conceptualized and led their inaugural translation project. The project saw one story, originally written in Gikuyu, translated into 100 languages. His writing in his mother tongue, Kiikamba, has been published in the 26th issue of Absinthe: World Literature in Translation.
