Votapwa G. Elkanah is a creative thinker, a song writer and a meteorologist by profession. He has written a number of topical issues in Bwatiye language; using poetry to convey his messages to his people.
His passion to preserve his mother tongue has prompted him to start an online school in Bwatiye language.
The poet as fondly called by his contemporaries is from the indigenous people of Bwatiye in Adamawa state of Nigeria.
