Dr. Beverlyne Asiko Ambuyo is a writer, researcher, mentor and teacher. She has and continues to teach, supervise researches and publish on various aspects of Linguistics, Language use, translation and Literature at Maseno University, Department of Kiswahili and Other African Languages. She has written Swahili play Mwenye Macho ready for publication (E.A.E.P). Her short stories ‘Tumaini’ and ‘Safari’ have been accepted in a short story anthology (Mentor). She has edited and contributed in poetic anthologies Tasnia ya Ushairi and Wosia na Mashairi mengine (African Ink) amongst other works. She has served on various Literary works review panels; editing and proofreading.
